How did you start with triathlon? What is your history with sports?
I started triathlon in the year 2000 because a friend of mine was doing triathlon. I started at local cycling and running races before. I liked the variety in training. But learning to swim was a struggle for survival at the beginning. After two years with triathlon I got overtrained and made a break until 2009. In the period without triathlon I started at MTB races.
What do you especially like about this sport?
The variety in training. The challenge at races.
